My Review

I was ever so excited to delve into Della and Woods' complicated world again. I really wasn't disappointed, Glines writes yet again another very heartfelt and emotion filled read.

Della is the kind of girl that I would like as a friend. She is kind, thoughtful and very down-to-earth. She has some very dark things in her past that she still struggles to deal with in everyday life. I loved her bravery and her beautiful journey.

In this instalment we see Della and Woods work together to try and make their relationship really work. But with Della's issues and Woods' infuriating mother and ex constantly getting in the way, how can they possibly hope to get anywhere?

I fell in love with Woods in Twisted Perfection but sadly in this instalment I lost my attraction (could be because I've now experienced Rush *swoon*), I still really liked him but more as a friend. He was overbearing and just very annoying...which drove me insane in places.

There was a big emotional punch towards the end and I think it will play big parts in future books.

Simple Perfection is a steamy read that is filled with emotion and is very dark in places. Abbi Glines explores some tough topics with ease and her characters are always larger than life. A really great all-round read!
