My Review

Sia is a gorgeous story that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. Admittedly not my usual sort of read, but I'm ever so glad I picked it up because it gave me some pause for thought.

Josh Grayson is a beautiful writer and I really enjoyed the simplicity of this story. The pacing was perfect and I especially loved all of the little moments of realisation Sia had throughout the story.

Sia wakes up on a park bench, with no idea how she got there, worse though - she has no idea who she even is! She spends very rough nights on the streets, but with the help of a very kindly woman, Sia survives the dangers of being homeless.

The best bit of this story is when Sia goes home, she finds out how much of a bitch she was - even though she has no memory of being awful. She also has vile friends who also terrorise people. I loved it when Sia is so embarrassed and sorry for the person she used to be.

She goes through so much in her journey of self discovery and I thought the whole process was very beautiful indeed. The new Sia, is a very sweet girl who wants to help others and be a good person - but can others forget the past so easily? It's a tough mountain for Sia to climb.

Sia, is a wonderful read that is full of highs, lows and bucket loads of emotion. The characters are very strong and the romance is rocky but very sweet. It's fair to say that Sia is an all round sweet read that I truly lost myself in.
